STEPPING INTO SURFACE PATTERN DESIGN
For anyone who knows me, this might come as a surprise — putting myself out there like this is far from my comfort zone. But this year seems to be one of firsts, so here we are.
After a few gentle (and not-so-subtle) nudges from family and friends who insisted I had an artsy side, I decided to take the plunge and enrol in Bonnie Christine’s Immersion Course. Seven months later, I’ve learned more than I could have imagined — and I’m only just getting started.
There have been missteps, moments of doubt, and long stretches of creative quiet, but I’ve come to realise that’s all part of the process. My goal now is simply to keep showing up — to create, to experiment, and to share what I learn along the way.
As we move into my favourite season, I feel a renewed sense of energy and inspiration. I’m beginning some new designs that I can’t wait to share in the months ahead.
